The range of engines available to Opel Insignia is increasing as the company will soon start
producing a new 2.0-liter diesel engine with two turbochargers. It will be the first engine of the
company to meet the upcoming European emission standards 6.2, the new four-cylinder engine is
produced and produces 205 hp and 480 Nm torque.
It comes connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive with a torque
distribution function. Thanks to this setting, the car can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 7.9 seconds
before reaching a top speed of 233 km / h. In terms of efficiency, it can consume an average of 6.9
liters / 100 km with carbon emissions 183 g / km. For comparison, the 2.0-liter 2.0-liter turbocharged
turbocharged 166-hp diesel engine consumes 5.2 liters per 100 km with 136 g / km carbon emissions.
